Citizen Television's Sports anchor Waihiga Mwaura on Friday December 18 tied the knot with the love of his life gospel singer Joyce Omondi in a colourful ceremony which was held at the lush Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.
Waihiga, who is a very spiritual person, chose to go all white with the groom's men dressed in three-piece black and white suits.
Joyce Omondi on the other hand wore a fitting white gown with a veil freely flowing over her visage. The bridesmaids donned beautiful green dresses.
Joyce was a co-host of the popular Rauka Gospel Music programme on Citizen Television with Njugush of K-Krew before leaving the show in 2013 to pursue a Master's degree in International Development at the Georgetown University in Washington.
Two years later Joyce Omondi returned to Kenya; and now it felt right for her to make the next move in her life which is to settle down with the man after her own heart – Waihiga Mwaura.
