Social media has been ablaze for the past few days after a photo of Zari Hassan being baptized by water emerged online leading to speculation that Zari might have been against Diamond's Muslim faith.
However Zari has downplayed the rumors stating that the photo in question was taken in 2013 when she was baptized and now its three years down the line she has a different life. "Am now married to Diamond and following his Muslim religion" she said while in an interview with Millard Ayo on Top Twenty show.
"Nikweli nilibatizwa na kuwa Mkristu ilikuwa mwaka 2013, lakini sasa nina maisha mengine nimefuata dini ya mpenzi wangu, Diamond, nashangaa kwa nini picha hizo za mwaka huo ziwe stori leo wakati ni muda mrefu na sasa nina maisha yangu mengine," said Zari.
