A witch doctor has begun the cleansing of two suspected thieves he reportedly caused to dance naked on Bamburi's streets earlier on Wednesday.
The two allegedly stole a Nissan Fuga and were driving it towards Bamburi Mtambo from Bamburi Mwisho when they were caught.
They later mysteriously stopped the car, parked it outside a clinic, got out, undressed and started bathing in a nearby pool of muddy water.
"They were saying it was so hot and that they needed a bath," said an eyewitness.

The witch doctor known as Daktari Tachiu began the cleansing after clothing the suspects, activities which attracted residents.
Tachiu 'ceremoniously' hit the men on their heads and then approached one of his workers who was holding a black hen.
He then sprinkled white powder on the hen before cutting off its head. As the bird's body wiggled, the witch doctor spoke to it and then it died.
Speaking after the ordeal, Tachiu said he does whatever is required and that this is how he gets new clients.
"I am called Tachiu...I can reach anywhere you want me to. I deal with many issues...just call me."
In the drama that unfolded, the two suspected car thieves picked up a snake that was following them and started speaking to it.
Residents said they danced with it as if they were having a conversation and took turns carrying it around their necks.
