A priest collapsed during mass in Naivasha on Sunday and later died.
Father Patrick Kuria of DCK Catholic Church in Moi South Lake Road died at Finlay Hospital.
"We were with the priest on Saturday during a harambee with our bishop and he was in high spirits. He did not complain of any ailment," Sister Florence Muia, the director of Upendo Village said.
"We are still in shock, trying to come to terms with the death of the priest who was at his prime,"
The body was taken to War Memorial Hospital Mortuary in Nakuru.
