The Affordable Art exhibition opens in Nairobi

The Kenya Museum Society (KMS) opened its Affordable Art show at the National Museum in Nairobi on Friday evening. The show is organised to raise money and the profiles of contemporary artists and their work. It is sponsored by Safaricom, the embassy of Poland and Java House. More than 200 visual artworks were displayed at the museum from dozens of artists including Michael Soi, Lia Berhane, Chain Muhandi, Moses Nyawanda, Samuel Njoroge and June Muto. The colourful evening included performances by the Safaricom Choir. The guest of honour was Sports and Culture cabinet secretary Hassan Wario...
