THE Nairobi government yesterday said talks are at an advanced stage to lower the M-Pesa transaction cost using the county e-wallet. Speaking to the Star on the phone, Deputy Governor Janathan Mueke said since there are many people using the e-payment system to pay their bills, there is a need to reduce the charges. Mueke said the e-payment system has reduced corruption as there is no human interaction with cash and the county government now collects more money. "Talks are at a very advanced stage.
