My opinion is that security is delinquent in not arresting and jailing not only those doing the disrupting but also the person, or persons, with the money. If the money distributors were to be detained perhaps we could determine without question who was the original source of the funds. Some reports have stated that these offenders were aided by one or more Democrat members in gaining admission to the hearing chamber.
Having said that, we still cannot be sure that one or more of the 'never Trumper' RINOS might be involved in the delay, disrupt effort. These individuals are not, in my opinion, to be trusted. Here we have as President (POTUS) a man who is doing just what he promised in his campaign, much to the benefit of a vast majority of the citizens, including those who did not vote for him. While many profess to dislike to the point of actual 'hate' his style and mannerisms, if they would be honest and support the effort instead of continually attempt to thwart it, the nation, and for that matter the whole World, would be far better off, and probably have a much lower level of conflict everywhere.
Frankly it is my opinion that much of the blame lies with those registered as Republican who refuse, and most never intended, to follow the founding principles of the Republican Party. Thus they are labeled "RINOs". It is too bad that the Party officials cannot see their way clear to step in and call those types out, unless they are actually in sympathy with the obstruct program. In that case their intent is to increase their own power at the expense of the well being of the Party and more importantly the Nation.
It seems to me that the Senator chairing the hearings is derelict in his duties in not simply ordering that the "gallery be cleared" when some observers are really disrupters and get out of hand. He should also order an investigation to determine just who is funding these screamers and bring that person to judgment for these actions. From all information coming to me it seems that he is quite ineffectual and perhaps incompetent to be in the position placed. Or maybe he has been intimidated by those in opposition to the nominee and therefore afraid to take positive action. In either case he should shape up or be replaced. He should also be more aggressive in preventing the delaying tactics of the Democrat minority members on the Committee.
One hopes that the voters will reject those up for re-election this year that have participated in the delay and slow down tactics after realizing that they really have no valid argument nor the votes to block his being approved.
All in all the antics going on cast aspersion on the decorum one expects to be carried out in "the most exclusive club on earth" the 100 member United States Senate. They are showing themselves to be no better than spoiled, bratty, and mean mouthed children and therefore unqualified for the seat they occupy. In my memory the Republicans, when in the minority, most often have rolled over and given a Democrat President just about whomever he wanted to nominate. As a result the Republic we were given in 1787 has been substantially damaged to the loss of our population and its well being.
