EACC has arrested former nominated Senator Joy Gwendo over abuse of office charges.
Gwendo is currently at the Integrity Centre being processed for court.
DPP had given consent to charge her for stealing, issuing bad cheque and abuse of office in respect of Sh2.2 million belonging to members of a cooperative society in Kisumu.
These offences were allegedly committed in October and December, 2016.
