Man who raped class four pupil, posted photos on Facebook arrested in Sotik

The man who posted pictures on his Facebook account bragging that he had sex with a standard four pupil has been arrested.

Calvin Mbane Alfayo alias Mohamed Alfayo was arrested on Tuesday, and is currently at the Sotik Police station.

Alfayo was arrested in Chepilat, Bomet County on Monday night.

Sotik OCPD Jonathan Ngala told the star on Tuesday officers were still interrogating Alfayo.

This, he said is to find out if Alfayo is the one who posted the images on his account or his account was hacked before charging him.

Ngala said they are still trying to locate the whereabouts of the minor.

This comes an hour after Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery said Alfayo is being pursued.

"The pedophile who defiled the Class four pupil is going to be arrested and charged," Nkaissery said during a presser on Tuesday.

IG Joseph Boinnet who was also present during the press briefing said: "Kenyans need to be wary about using abusive language on social media".

Via twitter, ODPP said the National Police service is already investigating the man.

"Kindly note that DCI is already investigating the matter. ODPP is already in touch with DCI ," Duncan Ondimu, senior counsel in the office of the ODPP, said.

Kenyans on social media expressed outrage after Calvin Alfayo posted the pictures of the pupil and him on his Facebook account.

Alfayo allegedly posted photos of himself and an unidentified girl whom he claimed to have had sex with.

He said in the post: "Today I had sex in the bush with a standard 4 gal.......Unaeza kupenda mtu lakini ukose kupendwa..."
