I'll remember our first night together,
The taste of your lips when we kissed.
Your wrinkles when some days I was a bother.
Our silence when both of us were pissed.

I'll remember the last smile on your face,
My embrace when you shrunk in the cold.
The good times and bad times that we faced,
But we're sadly at the end of our road.

I'll remember the joy in your eyes,
When I first cupped your face in my palms.
I'll remember the tears that you cried,
When we quarrelled and you trembled with qualms.

I'll remember my last text to you,
If we were meant to be together, we'll be.
I am leaving but peace be with you,
If the problem in our problems was me....
