Meanwhile in Zimbabwe its Annual Ugliest Man contestant went down in Harare on Saturday and the 42 year old Mison Sere emerged the winner taking home $500 which in Zimbabwe is a huge some of money.

Mr Sere was chosen by Judges based on numerous missing front teeth and a wide range of grotesque facial expressions, over William Masvinu, who had held the title since 2012.

"I want to thank God for winning this title, last time I came fourth. I just want to thank the judges for recognising me as the winner," Mr Sere told journalists during a night of festivities.

The event was attend by 200 people.William Masvinu however, a three-time Mr Ugly winner who walked off with a $100 second prize this year, cried foul.

"The judges were not fair, the organisers must look for new judges to start the contest afresh. I did not lose today," Mr Masvinu said.
