A biology teacher stunned her students after she removed her clothes to teach them how the body works.
Debby Heerkens, a gym and anatomy teacher, stripped off what she was wearing to reveal a spandex suit underneath, made with designs of the body's internal organs.
"At first they were a little bit in shock because they thought 'the teacher is taking off her clothes,' until, they saw what was underneath," Heerkens as quoted on CNN.
The unusual approach was inspired after she saw someone wearing leggings with a design reminiscent of body muscles, she told Omroepwest.
She then searched for a similar suit online and was lucky to find one she could use in her class at the Groene Hart Rijnwoude School.
Debby Heerkens arrived in her class, stood on top of a table and took off her clothes.
Omroepwest reports that she worked "from the outside in", starting with the body's entrails and working her way into the skeleton.
Apparently the session was so successful that the school shared the video andphotos on Facebook. As of Tuesday, October 13, over 130,000 people had viewed it.
According to Heerkens, comments on the school's Facebook page show that many students want such classes introduced.
