UGANDA'S TOP COMEDIAN ANNE KANSIIME WINS THE COVETED 'AFRICAN OSCAR'

Uganda's top comedienne Anne Kansiime has just received an accolade for her talent and good work of entertaining people not only in Uganda but in East Africa and Africa as a whole.

According to what she posted on her Instagram page today,she got the award for favorite comedian at the prestigious Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (African NAFCA) which are also known as 'African Oscar ' which were held today at the Orpheum theatre in Los Angeles,California.

The Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (African NAFCA) promote African cinema and culture.They are awards of merit and are considered the highest internationally recognized prestigious African wards in Hollywood.

She captioned, "And Dallas has surely ended well.
After a beautiful show with Basket Mouth tonight, i just received the coveted 'African Oscar' AWARD FOR FAVORITE COMEDIAN."

The 'Africa Oscar", African NAFCA,  is designed to globally promote African Cinema and culture.

The prestigious Nollywood and African Film Critics Awards (African NAFCA) are awards of merit and are considered the highest internationally recognized prestigious African wards in Hollywood.

This is after the concluded AFRIMMA awards which went down in Dallas on Saturday night where Tanzanian stars Diamond,Vanessa Mdee and Ommy Dimpoz won big.
