The jinx of Jane

Fat cows were slaughtered,
Holy hymns were hummed.
Piercing screams scattered,
A deep grave was dug!

When Jane's casket was coming,
Her parents had cardiac arrest.
The men she'd slept with were crying,
They knew from their hearts they were next.

We could tell the pastor was panting,
His eyes became pregnant
It looked like his arm pits were sweating,
His tongue turned stagnant!

When Jane's casket was opened,
Her thinness filled us with fear,
Her lips looked sick wounded.
She had cotton wool in her nose and ears.

And we fainted when Jane was carried,
To the graveyard where she was buried.
We were shaken, we were worried,
From singles ~ to those who were married!
