Diamond Platinumz is on a winning streaks, barely a days from taking home 3 AFRIMMA and 2 NAFCA Awards, the singer has yet again been named MTV EMAs Best African Act winner and now moves a step further against the winning act from India to be named 'Best Africa/India Act'.

Diamond Platnumz, beat the likes of AKA, Yemi Alade, Davido, and DJ Arafat and follows in the footsteps of previous Best African Act winners Sauti Sol (2014), LCNVL (2013), D'Banj (2012 & 2007), Freshlyground (2006) and 2Face (2005).
