Who's in charge of this disaster? Top Obamacare bureaucrat Andy Slavitt, the acting administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Andy Slavitt is a millionaire healthcare executive who was handpicked by President Obama to run Obamacare. The last administrator left to become the top lobbyist for the health insurance industry and Obama nominated Slavitt to take her place in the corrupt revolving-door. Now Slavitt refuses to answer simple questions about billions of dollars flushed down the drain. It's clear the Senate must respond by REJECTING his nomination.
It would be irresponsible for the Senate to ignore these mounting failures and let this man keep his position.
We've been working very hard to stop Mr. Slavitt from being nominated and your action will make sure that your senators realize how big of a mistake it would be to hand the keys over permanently to another corruptocrat from the insurance industry-Obamacare revolving door.
Andy Slavitt is showing just how poorly he would run the CMS and he should be fired – not rewarded with Senate confirmation!
According to The Daily Caller:
"We have long been concerned about the financial solvency of CO-OPs," three House Ways and Means committee members wrote to Slavitt. "Which plans have received these warnings or have been placed on corrective plans," the congressmen asked. To date, they have received no reply.
Obamacare has been failing at every turn. The government refuses to get rid of mandates that would let part-time workers get their hours back, Congress is still exempt from this disastrous law, and state-run Obamacare exchanges have been failing left and right with no answers and no money returned to taxpayers. Now the co-ops are crumbling.
If Andy Slavitt is not blocked by the Senate, it would be a signal that both parties are willing to allow the corruption and failure to continue.
