Thum e Thim is a Dholuo phrase for Music in the Wild! The event is hosted after every six months and provides thrilling, innovative and entertaining activities such as; live music, comedy, poetry, & dances, traditional cuisines and laid-back games. The Festival's core objective is to nurture talent among the youth; to appreciate nature; to promote culture, heritage, tradition and local tourism in Kenya. For realization of the event's theme……..Music in the wild!! Thum e Thim is held at a unique geographical/historical or tourism sites that provides fauna & sauna, fresh air and untamed beauty to give you one an opportunity to relax, mingle and network while sightseeing, and interacting with the wild animals in their natural habitat.
The first edition of the event will be held on 6th June, 2015 at Kenya Wildlife Service - Impala Sanctuary, Kisumu starting 2pm till dawn.

Tickets are selling at 500/- regular, 1,000/- for the VIP and 200/- for children.
There will be lots of traditional delicacies like: Achwaka, Achiela, Aboka, Ateda, Athola, Apoth, Atwago, Nyuk kal served in Agwata, Kuon bel, Ngege, Mbuta, Obambo, Omena, Osuga, Omboga, Muto, Sewe as well as laid back games like Ajua, darts, poker cards among others.
