Meet Oneal Africa An African Celebrity taking Africa to another new Level @OnealAfrica

As I was minding my business on social Media this morning I came across a post which has changed the whole of my thinking to African celebrities! Africans we are known to be haters of our own, as Jesus once said A prophet is not recognized in his own Town! But sometimes some people just break this barrier. Oneal Zibanani Madumo is one man, one African celebrity who has done this. The celebrated Radio Presenter  and Deejay from Botswana has been on an online radio in South Africa (www.cliffcentral.com) for one year,  despite most of us say that Online streaming is not a thing for Africans. Oneal Zibanani Madumo has broken this barrier which some of African Celebrities even international celebs haven't, First of all Oneal is an Online Radio Presenter and working as a deejay. But he has managed to get a big Online following with 80.5k following on twitter @OnealAfrica he is  Radio Jock. Hip Hop/Electro R&B dj. SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 4 (Brand Ambassador) JEEP RENEGADE BRAND INFLUENCER. I am surprised to know that he is a very close friend to our own Sauti sol on a tweet from souti sol on their Visit South Africa in March they tweeted that

From this whole support Oneal being a humble celebrity, he has gone to his Facebook page and thanked many of of his fans Name by Name, This is so cool. Oneal is the first celeb who has done this, Here is what  he wrote:

After a successful 1 year of uncharted territory that is online RADIO. It was revealed yesterday
that www.cliffcentral.com is the NUMBER 1 provider of podcast content in Africa & out of 35 shows,we average 100 000 podcast downloads every week. I am happy to have consistently been on the TOP 5 most downloaded shows since our inception. Much to my shock my show out of the 35 shows enjoys MORE listenership & downloads in the UK,closely followed by the US internationally, while naturally Botswana leads the region very closely followed by South Africa & the rest of the continent. It is also worth mentioning that we are by no means trying to compete with conventional terrestrial radio,we view ourselves as (Content Developers) as opposed to radio presenters/announcers. RADIO will remain(Fact) but admittedly with the advent of smart phones/social media, consumption patterns of content has shifted & so has our attention span,it has become shorter & its often divided over so much & we as a content developing platform enjoy whay we term active listening as opposed to passive listening which shares attention with your daily regular activities. If you know me you will know just how much I love challenging convention so this is right up my alley. I have deliberately turned down a few offers to join radio here in South Africa, even though it seemed like such a crazy idea at the time I am happy that tough times failed to make me cave & I am truly grateful to you Botswana for your continued support, even more importantly to everybody I have come across in my journey.
