Here Is What Uganda's Eddy Kenzo Had To Say After He Won At The BET Awards

Ugandans and the rest of East Africa woke up to the awesome news that Eddy Kenzo had won the International viewers choice award at the 15th BET Awards that was held last night in Los Angeles,California.

The Sitya loss hitmaker becomes the first ever East African artiste to win this prestigious award at the BET.

Many celebrities from all over East Africa showed him support and encouraged their fans to vote for him with the hashtag #IPickEddy via Instagram after BET cancelled the Twitter votes.

Eddy has surely done Uganda proud as well as Eat Africa and not to mention Africa as he is the only other African winner of the night.

Here is what he had to say.

"Before I say anything let me dedicate this award to all Ugandans wherever you are in the world, it has been a long journey, it's the first of its kind in East Africa. this is for Uganda, Uganda really needed this.
