Kalekye Mumo of Kiss Fm is away on vacation in Brazil but even in a far away land she keeps tab of what is happening in the 254.Thus she caught wind of one of the many speculations about the Gospel industry that are causing a buzz on social media after the recently concluded Groove Awards on Saturday night.
This particular speculation by one Tee Mwangi on Facebook alleged that the Gospel awards were dominated by secular artists thus suggesting a divide bettween secular and gospel artists lest forgetting that they are all christians or worship the same God.
Thus Kalekye a naturally happy person but vocally bold got infuriatingly mad about this post and she had alot to say.Read what she had to say.
"I am all the way in Brazil, I don't know who this Mr. Tee is but according to the screen shot attached, he and a lot of Kenyans think God is only for publicly proclaimed Christians.... So having Octopizzo, Jaguar and the likes on stage to give out awards at the just concluded Groove Awards is a sin..

To me that so-called secular artist could have been so blessed by attending the event that he is currently changing his life. Just because I don't have the calling to spread the gospel like a Christian musician doesnt mean I can't sing and praise God or be among people who do. Jesus walked among the theives, murderers and tax collectors that they may know him and become saved. Only God can judge. And we shall all be alone with him on Judgement day.
Then I heard of others claiming clothes make a Christian... So for example when a gospel artist wears Versace he is worldly and has forgotten God....
