Talk show king Jeff Koinange is a wanted man again after Senior Resident Magistrate Maisy Chesang ordered for his arrest yesterday when he failed to appear in court.
This comes after Jeff was arrested and spent a few hours as a guest of the state last Tuesday when he failed to appear before the court but was able to post kshs 100,000 as bail that was approved by acting Senior Principal Magistrate Linus Kassan,
Koinange is being sued alongside political activist and businessman Tony Gachoka by city businessman Maina Wanjigi for discussing the conduct of a company on his talk show that airs on KTN despite a court order barring it.
Apparently the reason for his failure to appear in court is because Jeff is out of the country to attend a conference in the Ivory Coast.This is according to his lawyer who appeared in court on his behalf but the Magistrate would hear none of it and slapped the author with yet another arrest order.
However his co-accused Tony Gachoka did the court's bidding and appeared in court.
It seems the tribulations of this deep voiced talk show host are not about to any end soon.
