#OkoaHapaKule: Sacked Hapa Kule Actors Get Support From Politicians

A section of the Hapa kule show that airs on KTN was fired for demanding contracts and a pay rise from  Protel studios which produces the news comedy show.

Its alleged that the company sent packing 5 of their actors when they demanded a promised pay rise in the ongoing season 8 and contacts to show that indeed they were part and parcel of Hapa Kule.The sacked actors include Muthiri,Ras Njoro,Mang'ondu,Makulukulu and Afande Supu.

This injustice formed the most unlikely alliance on Twitter onWednesday night when two politicians namely Senator Bonny Khalwale and Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr called out KTN and Protel studios in their tweets demanding to know why they had illegally fired the actors.They also garnered support from members of the public who protested and supported them using the hashtag #OkoaHapaKule
