Renown Talk show host Jeff Koinange has been arrested and is being detained at the Kilimani Police Station.
This is after Jeff Koinange and political commentator Tony Gachoka failed to appear in court to answer to defamation charges.
The duo are accused of discussing businessmen Jimi Wanjigi,Sani Mbui Wanjigi and Kwacha Group of Companies in the Jeff Koinange Show that aired on April 11th despite a court order that barring them from broadcasting on publishing anything about the businessmen.
Jeff and Tony had earlier lodged a complaint through their lawyer Gitobu Imanyara complaining of being treated unfairly adding that the court had failed to listen to their explanation as to why they had failed to attend court.
