Kenyans woke to a surprise of a lifetime today morning after a porpular Kenyan weekly newspaper published a list of Kenyans who are believed to be Gay. This comes after controversial ruling by the High court directing the government to register a gays and lesbians lobby group which ahs now received sharp condemnation from all quarters.
The Weekly Citizen newspaper published a list of influential Kenyans who are gay. Their names and photos appear on the top page of the publication for all to see. Renowned Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni, top government critic and writer Makau Mutua, former anti-corruption chief John Githongo and gay rights activist Dennis Nzioka among others appeared on the list.
The Above mentioned people are yet to make any statement with regards to the accusation.
