Ali Kiba Beats Diamond At the Tanzania People's Choice Awards!

Tanzania's Tuzo za watu awards which is translated to the People's choice awards went down on Friday 22nd at the Hyatt Regency and many celebrities from the Tanzanian music scene were in attendance.

What stood out however is the fact that Ali Kiba beat Diamond Platnumz for the best male vocalist award.If these awards are to go by is it safe to say that Diamond has lost favour in the eyes of his fans and countrymen at large? Or he did not really care about awards?

Apart from Diamond losing out,some others won.The winners included blogger Millard Ayo,actress Wema Sepetu (who was romantically linked to Diamond),singer Lady Jaydee and Ommy Dimpoz for the best music video category just to name afew.
