#OccupyPlayGround: Social media users decry police using teargas on students

Sections of leaders and other Kenyans have expressed anger over the use of teargas to disperse crowds of protesters, among them children, at the Lang'ata Road Primary School. A demonstration dubbed #OccupyPlayGround was organised by civil society groups and activists to protest the alleged grabbing of the Lang'ata Road Primary School playground. What initially started as a peaceful protest ended up in chaos as police lobbed teargas at the protesting crowds oblivious of the presence of children from the school in their midst.
