The Law Society of Kenya has filed a notice of appeal against the High Court's decision to bar it from compelling lawyers to contribute money towards the International Arbitration Centre. LSK has moved to the Court of Appeal seeking a stay of the High Court's ruling by Justice Mumbi Ngugi on Friday last week. The judge suspended all the resolutions made by the LSK in the Special General Meeting at Hilton Hotel on September 27 last year.
