CID officers have released a blogger arrested on Saturday in Mombasa for highlighting corruption in government. Abraham Mutai was held at Muthaiga police station and later transferred to CID headquarters on Sunday where he was questioned over his twitter posts. Mutai who microblog on Twitter as @ItsMutai was released on a personal free bond, he is expected to report back to the CID on Monday. Mutai faces charges of misusing a licensed telecommunication equipment to cause anxiety.
