We use social media everyday but few of us really understand the terms of service. These is the lengthy documentation we ‘accept’ when signing up.
Once in a while, Facebook and Twitter strikes and suspends accounts that have violated one or more of their terms. It can either be after someone reports the page or just some algorithmic action that brought it to their attention.
Robert Alai’s Twitter page was yesterday suspended, and looking through their privacy rules, it’s pretty clear why.
Last weekend, Alai shared the private phone numbers of President Uhuru, Deputy William Ruto, and Uhuru’s PA Jomo Gecaga. Here’s what Twitter says on sharing other’s private information.
