Moses Kuria is out of order, Jubilee boss Raphael Tuju has said, following his remarks on a manhunt for Kiambu people who did not vote for the President.
In a Facebook post on September 5, the Gatundu South MP said they were ready for another election but that they hunt people who did not elect Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Kiambu has spoken. They have said Wembe ni ule ule (the razor blade is the same one). Wangige and Kiambu people are seething with anger. One million of their votes were cancelled by four people," read the post.
"But they are so ready to do it again. And even more. Manhunt is on tonight for the 200,000 people who did not vote and the 70,000 that voted for that other demon."
Tuju, who is Jubilee Party secretary general, told NTV's Side Bar show on Wednesday night that the remarks are unacceptable.
"That's completely out of order and I will not accept that kind of language. And if it is true, I will take up with him. It is unacceptable," he said.
The secretary general disassociated himself and the party from the utterances.
"It is not a Jubilee policy," he added. "It cannot be a Jubilee policy and we cannot be put on the spot by mistakes of a few elements in the party which are preaching wrong things."
On Wednesday, Tuju criticised his boss for losing his temper after the Supreme Court cancelled his polls victory.

'KOT ANGERED'
Kuria's remarks drew mixed reactions from Kenyans, some saying he is dividing the nation.
"Very sad that Moses Kuria, the President's MP, is allowed to continuously run a Nazi-style vitriolic, acerbic and demeaning tribal campaign [sic]," lawyer Donald Kipkorir said.

'@EmperorJo' wrote: "So, is Moses Kuria weeding out the 70k RAO voters from Kiambu? Is this an official policy so we have it implemented countrywide? Just asking [sic]."
A user identified as Betty Waitherero said: "Ethnic hatred driven by Moses Kuria will NEVER defeat God's love. Githurai, Juja areas protect each other from goons. #StopEthnicProfiling."
"Moses Kuria has declared war on NASA supporters in Kiambu. Real war. Drums of war. This must be stopped. Sad and unacceptable," said one '@ItsMutai'.
'@Babu_Owino' noted: "Moses Kuria is putting the lives of our lovely Kikuyu brothers and sisters who are living outside Rift Valley and Mt Kenya in danger."
Other users called for the legislator's arrest while others defended him.

'@Atanasi_' said: "The same guys attacking Moses Kuria will say nothing about the likes of Junet and Mbadi. Let's stop hypocrisy and condemn ethnic bigotry [sic]."

'YOUTHS PROFILING PEOPLE'
Meanwhile, police are investigating an incident in which a group of youths blocked Thika Superhighway in Githurai and started to profile drivers, targeting people from certain communities.
This reportedly happened after they were incited by politicians.
The youths stole from motorists and demanded their identification cards to know their origins.
This happened for several minutes before police arrived and engaged them in running battles, disrupting traffic flow on the busy highway.
A credible source at the DCI headquarters said they are investigating the claims that the goons were incited by the politicians amid fears other regions may retaliate.
There is fear following the violence after the disputed 2007 election, which left at least 1,300 dead and more than 600,00 internally displaced.
IEBC set October 17 as the date for the election and released the names of officials who will oversee the process.
Uhuru will face Raila Odinga, who is ODM leader and a principal in the National Super Alliance.
