NASA leaders were chased away from Supreme Court on Sunday shortly after Gladys Wanga led them in a prayer for their chiefs.
Wanga, who is Homa Bay woman representative, was with Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati, Suba South's John Mbadi and Kibra's Ken Okoth.
Dressed in white attire, Wanga led the prayers, asking God to cleanse their land and for the court's judgement be free and fair
"Lord we call you to be present in that court because what we need is the truth and nothing but the truth. We kneel down here and we surrender Raila [Odinga], Kalonzo [Musyoka] and the NASA team to you."
Police, some on horseback, dispersed them after the prayer. Supporters engaged police in running battles.
Raila (DOM) and Kalonzo (Wiper) faced Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto of Jubilee Party in the national election on August 8.
Other National Super Alliance principals are Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress), Issac Rutto (Chama Cha Mashinani) and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya).
Police commander Japheth Koome had said he would not allow the Opposition coalition to hold a vigil at the Supreme Court ahead of petition hearings.
But Opposition leader Raila Odinga said Koome does not understand the law.
"We don't seek any permission...the law is very clear...that police officer does not understand the law. We are past permissions. He needs to read the law better."
This was part of his speech at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi where he assured supporters that they will eventually get to the promised land.
