Alas! What times are we living in?
Times of Terrorism
Bombs and guns become the order of the day
Fear creeps in everywhere we walk
For we don't know when and where we will be hit
Is there any mercy anywhere?

Tell me, what time are we living in
Husbands are murdering their wives
Wives murdering their husbands
Kids rebelling against parents
And parents neglecting their kids
Is there any hope anywhere?

Can you just tell me?
What times are we living in?
Nations rising against nations
Authorities rising against other authorities
Religions rising against other religions
Is there any grace anywhere?

I am on my knee, Please tell me?
What times are we living in?
Humanity losing its humane touch
Videos are more important to a drowning man
Than saving him
A phone is man's only best friend
Do you see any possibility of salvation and redemption?

Facebook,Tweeter and Instagram
Are used to tear a mortal apart
We broadcast a naked mortal
With aims of maiming the mortal
We merry at leper treatment to mortal
Is there any love left anywhere?

Tell me what Times are these
Times of corruption
Of Mass murdering
Fearful humans
Is there any humanity left anywhere?
