Nicki Minaj's old beau Safaree Samuels is reportedly gearing up to hit the Young Money rapstress with a hefty lawsuit. According to TMZ, Samuels is gathering his chess pieces to request a multi-million dollar cut from Nicki's three studio albums: Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and The Pinkprint. Samuels is also looking to cash out on the success of her singles, including "Only," featuring Chris Brown, Drake & Lil WayneBeyonce's, "Flawless (Remix)" featuring Beyoncé and "Feeling Myself," the site reports.
Safaree's reps have cited that the rapper has a bevy evidence including videos of him assisting Nicki, voice memos, and hours of in-studio footage. This added to multiple witnesses whom will validate his claims. The suit itself has legs considering that Nicki Minaj credited Safaree as an executive producer on her first two albums. Though the amount he is seeking has not yet been made public, it will obviously be a hefty amount given the success of Nicki Minaj's music.
