A must Read! Six Problems Only Girls With Big Breasts Understand

Six Problems Only Girls With Big Breasts Understand
Contrary to the popular gender culture coveted by most women, having big breasts can actually be a health and fashion hazard. The trend today is for women with small breasts to either pursue breast enlargement procedures or buy boob-enhancing bras. A recent conversation in the media sparked debate over whether women really know what it means to have big breasts. Apart from the common back and neck pains, here is a list of 6 problems that only busty girls may know about:

Duct-taped Breasts

Imagine being 16 years old at five-foot one and with 32F-sized breasts. Chances are you may not comfotably participate in any acting gigs let alone sporting activities. Breanna Karstens-Smith, a popular TV show host recently revealed how throughout her teenage years, she had to duct-tape her breasts or wear more than one sports bra for her to jump or run without pain. She eventually underwent breast reduction surgery.

Oversized Clothes

Most clothes will either overemphasize the already big breasts, suffocate them or give the owner a side boob. Shopping is thus a nightmare for busty women which gives them an overwhelming desire to disguise their breasts.
Even when the sun is out, they will either be in oversized clothes, jumpers, heavy sweaters or scarves. They do not have the luxury of wearing crop tops, V-necks, buttoned-down shirts or backless tops because their breasts will be overexposed and they'll look semi-nude as if dressed for the club.

No Bras Fit

Heard of granny panties? Well granny bras are also a thing now and not just for our grandmothers. When you have gigantic breasts, it is almost impossible to find cute bras that fit: sexy, lacy Victoria Secret ones are but a dream. Sometimes they get lucky in the pregnant women section where they end up with two-inch wide strapped bras that will more often than not come in beige colour.

Popping Buttons

An attempt to upgrade the wardrobe from oversized clothes to somewhat fitting attire will often result in an accident such as popping buttons. Because it's hard to find tops that fit, endurance is needed when putting on clothes and when the shirt is finally buttoned up you breathe a sigh of relief only to realise a few minutes later that one of the buttons you struggled with is missing.

Beachtime? No, Thanks

It's a nightmare to find a swimsuit that fits and woe unto you if you're daring enough to wear a bikini. Everyone stares at your chest and even laying down to read a good book is uncomfortable.

Gigantomastia

Did you know that the most common breast cup size is B worldwide which is smaller than the average British cup size D? Women with breast weight exceeding 3 per cent of total body weight are classified to be suffering from a disease called gigantomastia. The disabling condition results in breast weights of between 2.5 – 3.5kg. Muscular discomfort leads to neck pain, regular backaches, headaches and even tingling and numbness of fingers.

While there's no particular guideline on how big is "too big" for breasts to warrant surgery, most insurance companies usually require women to display symptoms such as neck, back and shoulder pain, trouble sleeping and exercising and a lack of confidence in intimate and social situations. Though surgical breast reduction is one of the recommended treatments, insurance companies have been known to reject this procedure, terming it cosmetic.
