In my opinion, we are already embroiled in "World War III." since the extremist clergy of the religion of Islam have repeatedly and loudly declared "death to Israel and the USA." In my opinion, if that does not put us at war, nothing will. Having been a mid-teenage Junior in High School on December 7, 1941, I clearly recall receiving the news of the Japanese areal attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday Morning. They had not openly declared war, and in fact had studiously covered up there intentions by the actions of their Ambassador in Washington. He even continued to go about the business and appearing to negotiate the differences between our two governments.
Well, the 'Islamofasciasts' have been mounting murderous attacks on the US civilian and military here in the 'lower 48' at least since the first half of the 1990s. The first incident was the truck-bombing in the basement of the late World Trade Center. This was during Bill Clinton's administration whose First Lady Hillary is now a candidate for the Democrat nomination for President. At that time, the personnel of the White House Staff did not ever label the action as 'terrorism' or 'an act of war.'
Eight months after Clinton left office, the 'Islamofasciasts' were able to bring down those buildings by flying hijacked airliners into the buildings on September 11, 2001. This attack killed almost 3,000 citizens, not counting those killed by another airliner flown into the Pentagon and by the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania after the passengers attempted to subdue the hijackers.
Against the railing of some members of Congress, but with the affirmative majority vote, which included a number of Democrat members, reportedly including then Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-NY, authorization to attack the nations that were sponsored these "terrorists." In later years, many lies have been raised about the 'information given about WMD in those nations'.
Now within America, a number of attacks on our military personnel have been carried out by 'Muslim Extremists' most of whom were here legally. The most recent on July 24 was in Chattanooga, TN where a sailor and four Marines.
Previously, at Fort Hood, TX an attack by Army medical psychiatric officer, of the Muslim faith kill and wound many more. The victims were unarmed per base policy and had no means of self defense. According to the now convicted Major, the his fellow soldiers were heading to the Middle East to do harm to 'good Muslims.' This, and other, attacks were labeled "workplace violence" verses terrorism.
In none of these attacks were the victims to be eligible for the "Purple Heart" or listed as combat casualties. It took Congress to correct this situation.
For the military to win one MUST be willing to name the enemy and to act accordingly. That includes the willingness to take positive action INCLUDING not disarming military personnel! They should be able to protect themselves and their families.
