The Kiambu government has criticised an ongoing multimillion-shilling project by the World Bank to construct footpaths in Thika town. Roads executive Njeri Gatabaki said the project has been overtaken by events. Gatabaki said road expansion plans in Thika town will lead to the demolition of the footpaths.
