FOUR people yesterday were seriously injured and a car burnt during a fight over land at Cheplaskei in Eldoret. Sons of a man who allegedly sold the land to the family of Peter Lelei invaded the farm to reclaim it, leading to a bloody clash. Lelei said about 20 people raided the farm, which he bought from James Gashobe Njeru, more than 22 years ago. Njeru's sons said they won a court case, in which Lelei's family was ordered to vacate.
