THE Kenya Railway Corporation has approved Sh5.5 billion land compensation for the development of the standard gauge railway in four counties. Managing director Atanas Maina said the National Land Commission has finalised land evaluation process in Kwale, Taita Taveta, Makueni and Kajiado, where more than 2,000 residents will be affected by the project.
