Yessaya Ambikile popularly known as YP
of Wanaume TMK family from Tanzania has
passed on.
The late YP was suffering from a chest
problem for many years but it had gotten
worse two weeks prior to his death which
occurred at the Temeke hospital where he had
been receiving treatment.
The group brought us hits like Dar mpaka
Moro that I even jammed to in high school.
The group’s manager Said Fela confirmed this
unfortunate incident and praised YP for his
good work.
Krazyinsidekenya offers our deepest
condolences to the TMK Wanaume Family and his fans
and may YP rest in peace.
Tanzanians took to social media to send their condolences to the fallen musician who inspired many of the current big bongo artists like Diamond Platinumz, Ali Kiba and Ommy Dimplez, indeed the shock hit hard and others called on radio and TV stations to share their pain after YP died.
